Understanding our audience.

We use a private visitor dashboard to understand traffic to the Sinthos website. For visits to our homepage, it records your public IP address, visit time, page path, estimated country, region and city, approximate coordinates, and device, browser and operating-system type. If available, we also record the referring website’s hostname, without its path or query string.

Locations are estimated from IP addresses by our hosting provider, Vercel. We do not request your browser’s GPS location. VPNs, shared networks and mobile providers can make IP locations inaccurate. An IP address does not reliably identify an individual person.

Our custom analytics does not set a visitor-tracking cookie or create a browser fingerprint. It skips collection when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. The dashboard uses a separate, essential sign-in cookie for authorized administrators.

Vercel hosts the website and Upstash stores the analytics records. Our dashboard is password protected. We keep up to the newest 5,000 visits, display only records from the last 30 days, and remove older records during collection. If collection stops, the stored visit set expires 30 days after the last write. Hosting providers may maintain separate operational logs under their own policies.
